Hello everyone!

 

I guess I've been missing in action for a while here. I sort of lost interest in using Microsoft products online after initially being selected as a showcase site and then being deemed by Microsoft as a competitor and dropped from their list of businesses to showcase. The irony is that I'm a single parent, living from paycheck to paycheck, and if I could spend a $100 a month on marketing and advertising it would be a lot. Sure it felt good to be viewed in such a way but it's an illusion and I really could have used the exposure. This experience left me really uncomfortable with Microsoft so I moved Bembry Business to a different host. I couldn't be sure that Microsoft wouldn't go as far as to block any marketing efforts on my part for my business. I mean come on, I'm just a poor guy in his bedroom and they are worried about me enough to not support me in any way whatsoever because of some perceived threat? (For those of you who may think that I'm making this up, Dean Nicolls was the contact at Microsoft) I think that that is the correct spelling of his last name. They went on to say that I'd be featured at some point since the video interview was called off but I never heard anything else. Still, it was one of the biggest moments in my life. I rattled the Giant, Microsoft! That was a good one! I still use Microsoft products daily, I think they are the best but I'll always be disappointed in knowing that they aren't inclined to really help the little guy. Only use you for their benefit. Anyway, that's why I haven't been here much but I see that I've made some new friends here and so I will check in now and then and if there's anything that I can do to help anyone, please don't hesitate to get in contact with me or post me a message. I will respond promptly. I thank and welcome all of you who've joined my friend list and I will take the time to check out what all of you have going on here online.
